Stark Talks 2019

On November 19, 2019 we held our Stark Talks event at Central Catholic, focusing on the topic: The First Amendment: The Role of a Free Press in a Democracy. Our Social Studies Chair Geoff Stuckart moderated a panel consisting of: Therese Bottomly, editor of The Oregonian, Nigel Jaquiss, Pulitzer Prize winning reporter for the Willamette Week, and Terry Petty, author and former Head of Operations for the Associated Press in Oregon.
